In July 2003, CRIL was fortunate to receive funding from the Womens Foundation to identify accessible health care providers for people with disabilities throughout Alameda County.
CRIL has completed phone surveys to over 250 physicians at medical office facilities throughout Alameda County. Each survey has the answers from providers who identified their facility accessibility, as well as answered critical questions for many people with disabilities when considering a health care provider.
CRIL also surveyed consumers of CRIL services to identify health care providers that they have utilized. We hope that by sharing this information, you will be able to receive access to quality health care.
Each survey is a Microsoft Word document. If you require a different format, please call or e-mail CRIL. Please remember that the surveys were given and answered by people, who make mistakes. Also, conditions may change at any location over time. You might want to contact the provider before you visit, to verify current accessibility.
